Dr. David L. Brockman
For 30 years, Dr. David L. Brockman has been providing patients with exceptional orthodontic care. Highly educated, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1988, and his Master of Science in Orthodontics in 1991, both from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
Dr. Brockman feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of orthodontics. Thus, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Midwest Society of Orthodontists, Lincoln Orthodontic Study Club, American Dental Association and the Lincoln District Dental Association.
Dr. Brockman has been married to his wife, Julie, for 35 years. They have two daughters, Haleigh and Courtney; a cat, Charleigh; and a dog, Kobi. In his spare time, Dr. Brockman enjoys spending time with his grandsons, Simon & Ellis, working in the garden, traveling, and cooking. He has a strong interest in architectural and interior design and has enjoyed designing and decorating his home, and the Lincoln and Columbus offices. Dr. Brockman believes if you make a person comfortable in your home or office, treat them with kindness and respect and give them a beautiful smile and maybe something good to eat, you've made a friend for life! Dr. Nathan Persell, D.M.D., MS
A Lincoln native, Army veteran, and board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Nathan Persell is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles. With a strong foundation in science and a heart for service, he blends clinical excellence with a warm, patient-centered approach to care.
Dr. Persell earned his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and was selected for the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship. He attended A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health and began his Army career by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. His service took him across Europe and Florida, ultimately leading to orthodontic specialty training at the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio, Texas. He later served as Chief of Orthodontics at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, where he provided care for military members and their families.
Outside the office, Dr. Persell enjoys exploring Lincoln’s parks and trails with his amazing wife, Samantha, and their three energetic children—Adeline, Declan, and Callen. There’s never a dull moment at the Persell house!
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Persell stays current with the latest advancements in the field while remaining focused on the individual needs and goals of each patient. He is honored to practice in the community where he grew up and looks forward to helping patients of all ages smile with confidence for years to come.

At Brockman Orthodontics, we are fortunate to have a staff that has longevity in the practice. We care very much about the patients, and we care about each other. We work hard to be sure patients’ and parents’ time in the office is prompt, caring, and on schedule. We strive to make our patients feel at home and part of our family!
Our staff is trained and skilled, and our team members hold Radiology and Coronal Polishing certifications. We strive to stay current on the very latest in orthodontics by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars taught on CPR and OSHA guidelines.
